Mobile App

How do I download the Swamy Publishers mobile app?

The Swamy Publishers app is available on both Google Play Store (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Search for "Swamy Publishers" or "Swamys Cloudbooks" and tap Install. You will need to sign in with your Swamy Publishers account to access your subscriptions and purchases.

Which devices and platforms are supported?

The app supports Android 8.0+ and iOS 15+. It works on phones and tablets. For the best reading experience, we recommend a screen size of 7 inches or larger.

Can I read my books offline on the mobile app?

Yes. Once you open a book while connected to the internet, it is cached locally on your device. You can then read it even without an internet connection. To ensure a book is available offline, simply open it once while you are online.

How do I sync my reading progress across devices?

Reading progress syncs automatically when you are signed in with the same account on multiple devices. Make sure you have an active internet connection for the sync to take effect. Your last-read page, bookmarks, and highlights are all synced.

How do I enable push notifications for new publications?

Go to Settings > Notifications in the app and enable "New Publications". You will receive alerts whenever a new issue or title is available. Make sure notifications are also allowed for the app in your device's system settings.

The app is not loading or keeps crashing. What should I do?

Try the following steps:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
  • Clear the app cache from your device settings.
  • Restart the app and try again.
  • If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.

If none of these steps help, contact us at support@swamypublishers.com with your device model and OS version.

AskSwamys.AI is an AI-powered assistant built specifically for government employees and professionals. It can answer questions related to service rules, pay fixation, pension, allowances, leave rules, and other topics covered in Swamy's publications. Think of it as having an instant, knowledgeable colleague at your fingertips.

What kind of questions can AskSwamys.AI answer?

AskSwamys.AI can help with questions on:

  • Central Government service rules and orders
  • Pay fixation and pay commissions
  • Pension and retirement benefits
  • Leave rules (CL, EL, HPL, etc.)
  • TA/DA and transfer entitlements

It draws from the extensive library of Swamy's Handbooks and compilations.

How accurate are the responses from AskSwamys.AI?

AskSwamys.AI is trained on authentic Swamy's publications and government orders. While it strives for high accuracy, AI responses should be treated as guidance rather than legal advice. For critical decisions, we recommend cross-referencing with the relevant Swamy's Handbook or official government order. The AI always cites the source publication when available.

What data sources does AskSwamys.AI use?

AskSwamys.AI draws from:

  • Swamy's Handbooks and compilations
  • Central Government orders and office memorandums
  • Pay Commission reports and related notifications
  • Pension and retirement rules

The knowledge base is regularly updated as new government orders and publications are released.

Is my conversation with AskSwamys.AI private?

Yes. Your conversations are private and not shared with other users. We may use anonymised interaction data to improve the AI's responses, but your personal information and specific queries are kept confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Can AskSwamys.AI help me find the right publication for my needs?

Absolutely. You can describe your requirement or topic of interest, and AskSwamys.AI will recommend the most relevant Swamy's publication. For example, asking "Which handbook covers leave rules for central government employees?" will direct you to the appropriate title with a link to purchase or read it online.

Web & Desktop Cloudbooks

What are Cloudbooks and how do they work?

Cloudbooks are the digital editions of Swamy's publications that you can read directly in your web browser or desktop application — no downloads or installations required. Simply log in to your account at swamypublishers.com, go to My Cloudbooks, and start reading.

Which browsers are supported for reading Cloudbooks?

Cloudbooks work on all modern browsers including:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari

For the best experience, please ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.

Can I read Cloudbooks offline on my desktop?

The web version of Cloudbooks requires an internet connection. However, if you are using the desktop application, books you have previously opened are cached locally and can be read offline. We recommend opening your most-used titles while connected so they are available when you are offline.

How many devices can I use simultaneously with my Cloudbook subscription?

You can access your Cloudbooks on up to 3 devices simultaneously using the same account. This includes any combination of web browsers, desktop apps, and mobile devices. If you need access on additional devices, you will need to sign out from one of the existing sessions first.

Can I highlight text and add annotations in Cloudbooks?

Yes. The Cloudbook reader supports highlighting, bookmarking, and text annotations. Select any text to highlight it or add a note. Your annotations are saved to your account and sync across all your devices automatically.

How do I access Cloudbooks I have already purchased?

Log in to your account on swamypublishers.com and navigate to My Cloudbooks from the user menu. All your purchased and subscribed titles will appear there. If a purchase is missing, please check that you are logged in with the same email address used for the purchase, or contact support@swamypublishers.com.
